"Something feels off with the frame durability"
I haven’t had this for very long, but the frame already cracked after some trail use. I wasn’t doing anything too extreme, so it feels like something’s off with the build quality. Definitely doesn’t seem strong enough for regular trails

"Assembly was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
Putting this together was a headache. The instructions weren’t very clear, and it felt like no one was taking ownership of how confusing the assembly process was. I kept wondering who was actually responsible for making sure this thing was simple to build. Definitely not a smooth experience.

The bike looked really nice, but the suspension was kinda a letdown from the start. It felt super harsh over small bumps and kept bottoming out on bigger hits, even after I messed with the pressure a bunch. Support didn’t really help much either. For the price, I expected way better lol.

"Not really worth the price"
I’ve been riding this bike for a bit, i don’t feel like it’s worth what I paid. It’s not like it doesn’t work or nothing, but the parts are just okay and I expected a lot better for the money. Kind of regret buying it, to be honest.

"Felt like a bait and switch"
For the price, I expected way better. It looked decent at first, but after just a couple rides the gears started skipping, and the brakes felt really cheap. Kind of felt like a bait and switch once I actually used it

the brakes felt off from the first ride. when i was going downhill they barely grabbed, and it didn’t feel safe, so i had to stop riding it

"Return worked out, but I got nervous after paying"
The return process was okay overall, just slower than I expected. After I paid, I started feeling a little unsure because the updates weren’t really coming in unless I emailed them first. I had to follow up a couple of times, which made me wonder if the refund was actually going to happen. It did come through in the end, so I can’t say it was terrible, but it definitely wasn’t the smoothest experience either

I preordered a bike the updates were not great. I barely heard anything unless I reached out myself (more than once), and even then the replies were basically the same vague answer. The expected dates kept shifting around with very little explanation, which got frustrating fast. It’s especially annoying when they already have your money and you’re just left guessing

"Honestly, I’d skip it"
I was thinking about giving it a try, but then I kept hearing one sketchy story after another. Maybe some people had a fine experience, I don’t know, but it just started feeling like way more hassle than it was worth. I’m not trying to deal with weird issues or second-guess everything, so yeah, no thanks

I ordered from commencalusa.com and the tracking has been stressing me out. For days it just said the label was created, then there was nothing, and then all of a sudden it switched to in transit with no location or useful details. I emailed to ask where the order actually was, but the reply I got felt vague and didn’t really help.
I understand shipping can take a while, but when you’ve spent this much money, you kind of feel pressured to keep checking and chasing updates. I don’t need it to arrive overnight, I just want the tracking to make sense so I’m not left guessing when it’s going to show up

"Refund process was honestly annoying"
I had to follow up with them twice just to get my refund sorted. Like, why should I have to keep chasing something that should be automatic? The whole thing took way longer than it needed to and was frustrating.

I’ve been trying to get a simple replacement part, but it’s never in stock. Every time I check or ask about it, I don’t really get much help, and it feels like I’m being brushed off. Frustrating for something that should be basic.

"Shipping was just too much"
I was all set to place an order on commencalusa.com, but the shipping cost kind of stopped me in my tracks. It just felt way too high for what I was buying, and I couldnt really justify it.
I know bikes and parts arent always cheap to ship, so I get that there will be some cost there. But this felt over the top to me, so I ended up backing out and not ordering. Disappointing...

They did end up resolving the issue, so I’ll give them credit for that. I just wish it hadn’t taken so long. I’m probably a little biased because delays really frustrate me, but overall, the problem was fixed in the end...

The packaging was a letdown. The box felt flimsy and arrived looking messy, and the parts inside barely had any protection. I could see this being hit or miss depending on how it’s handled in shipping, but mine didn’t come through in great shape

"Sizing chart didn’t work out for me"
I checked the sizing chart before ordering because my brother had a similar issue with another bike brand, but it still didn’t help much. The frame felt way off once I got it, and the bike just didn’t fit me right at all

"Pretty frustrating trying to order"
I tried ordering a bike, and I’m not totally sure if it was the site or something with my account, but checkout kept glitching on me. My payment info wouldn’t save, which got old fast. I reached out to support too, but the response was slow enough that I eventually just gave up. I’m sure I won’t be trying again anytime soon.

"I had a frustrating time..."
I had a frustrating time trying to get help with the warranty. The responses were slow and didn’t feel all that helpful at first. That said, the people I spoke with weren’t rude or anything, it just took longer than I expected and didn’t really solve my issue as smoothly as I hoped.

"Works fine, but could be a little smoother"
The site was okay to use overall, honestly. I could get around and the pages loaded fine for me, but... finding certain bike details took more clicks than I expected. The filters and menus work, they just feel a bit clunky sometimes, you know?
